Avallo’s Commitment to Our Community & Nonprofits

At Avallo, we believe in using our skills to make a difference. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of supporting numerous nonprofits and community initiatives through web development, branding, and design.

We built a website for a veteran speaker dedicated to raising funds for fellow veterans. Our work has also supported animal rescue efforts across Minnesota, Mexico, and Native American reservations, as well as a project dedicated to saving wildlife in Africa. One of our most heartwarming projects was designing calendars for a Husky rescue, significant since Julie and Dave have two Huskies of their own!

Beyond animal welfare, Julie played a key role in founding the Maple Grove Arts Center, creating its first website and logo. Avallo also developed websites for Age-Friendly Maple Grove and PSST (Professionals Serving Seniors Together), an organization helping seniors. Julie’s commitment to community service extends beyond her professional work—she served as a past President of the OMGBA board, where she helped raise $1 million to build the community gym at Maple Grove Middle School.

Today, Julie continues to give back as a mentor with the Breast Cancer Support Network, an organization for which Avallo also donated a website. She remains a member of the Maple Grove Lions Club, contributing to various fundraising initiatives.
