The Problem

Spinogenix approached us after seeing the success of another partner site we completed, amydis.com. They had initially started their website with a different company but realized the direction wasn’t aligning with their vision—and they really liked the approach we had taken with Amydis. We received the working files from their initial project and completely redesigned the site from top to bottom to better reflect Spinogenix’s goals and brand identity.

In addition to redesigning the website, we created an entirely new brand identity for Spinogenix, including a comprehensive brand guide to ensure consistency across all future marketing and advertising efforts. We also refreshed and vectorized their existing logo for broader use across digital and print platforms. To bring energy and visual interest to the homepage, we designed a custom animated graphic, which you can see live at spinogenix.com.

Clinical Trials

Adding the Clinical Trials section was a critical step once Spinogenix’s studies were underway. Avallo designed the pages to align closely with the brand, ensuring that patients and families could easily find information about available trials and how to participate. It has been an honor to contribute to a project that holds the potential to help find treatments—and ultimately cures—for devastating diseases.

Spinogenix is currently conducting Phase 2 clinical trials exploring its therapeutics for the treatment of ALS, Alzheimer’s disease, and Fragile X syndrome. Their therapies are designed as a simple once-daily pill, aiming to restore synaptic function and create a meaningful impact for patients and their families.

Responsive Design

Ensuring the site was fully responsive across all devices was a top priority. For many families seeking information about clinical trials or Spinogenix’s research, a phone is often the most immediate and accessible tool they have. Avallo designed and tested the site across various screen sizes and devices to ensure it functions flawlessly, from mobile phones and tablets to desktop monitors.

Special attention was given to mobile usability, particularly in the Clinical Trials section, where users require quick and straightforward access to vital information. We also incorporated accessibility best practices to support a wide range of users, ensuring the experience is inclusive, intuitive, and reliable, anytime, anywhere.
